The Kiwanis Music Festival has been a firm establishment within the greater St. John's area for over 50 years. For many it is the definitive venue for aspiring musicians (young and seasoned) to showcase their talents on a public stage.

This website has been launched as a showcase of that talent - past and present. We hope that you will find something useful and informative through these pages.

A Message from Dr. Eileen St. Croix
President of the Kiwanis Music Festival Association of St. John's

It is with pleasure that I welcome you to the 68th annual St. John’s Kiwanis Music Festival from
February 16-28, 2019.

The members of the Kiwanis Clubs of St. John’s and Kelligrews are proud to sponsor
and organize our 68th Music Festival which is a major part of the volunteer service
we provide to the communities of the Northeast Avalon.

Through the financial support of our patrons, advertisers, family and friends, we are
able to continue the Festival and award over $20,000.00 in scholarships and awards. This year
we are pleased to welcome the support of our major corporate partner DF Barnes Ltd.

On behalf of our clubs I want to thank our many supporters and volunteers for without their many
hours of volunteer service the success of our Festival would not be possible.

To all our participants and competitors, I congratulate you for the work you have
done to prepare for your performances. To parents, grand-parents and teachers I thank
you for the support and encouragement you give these talented young people.

Our Music Festival gives our participants an opportunity to display their talents before an
audience and receive an adjudication from skilled, professional musicians.

I invite our performers, audiences and volunteers to enjoy the Festival, broaden their musical
experience and most importantly have fun.

I look forward to seeing you at our venues.
